Review Audit Logs
Use Joomla’s User Action Log to review recent administrator actions performed in the Fediverse component.
Before you begin
- You need Joomla Administrator access with permission to open
User Actions Log. - Fediverse audit entries are written into Joomla’s core action log, not a separate Fediverse screen.
- Audit entries are created when supported Fediverse admin actions are performed.
Steps
- Open Joomla’s
User Actions Logview. - In the standard administrator menu, use
Users -> User Actions Log. - Open the
Extensionfilter and chooseFediverse Integration. - Review the newest entries first.
- Use search if you need to narrow the list by actor id, domain, handle, or other text shown in the action message.
- Use the sort controls if you need a different order.
What you can see
Actionshows the human-readable Fediverse administrator action.ExtensionshowsFediverse Integrationafter you apply the extension filter.Dateshows when Joomla recorded the action.Nameshows the Joomla administrator who triggered the action.
Supported Fediverse actions
- enabling or disabling actors
- changing actor type or object type
- approving or rejecting inbound replies
- deleting inbox items
- saving or deleting domain policies
- rotating signing keys
- exporting a configuration package
- importing a configuration package
Check your result
- Perform a supported admin action such as enabling or disabling an actor.
- Return to
Users -> User Actions Log. - Set
ExtensiontoFediverse Integration. - Confirm a new row appears for that action.
Troubleshooting
- If
Fediverse Integrationdoes not appear in theExtensionfilter, perform a new Fediverse admin action and reload the page. Joomla only lists extensions that already have action-log entries. - If you cannot find an expected entry, clear the search field, keep
Extension = Fediverse Integration, and sort by newest first. - If the
Extensionfilter is not available, confirm you opened Joomla’sUser Actions Logview rather than the Fediverse component.
